Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:The Physician Assistant will be assigned to work in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Mother-Baby Unit, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).Working under the supervision of the Attending Physician, the Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with the Resident Physicians and Attending Physicians/Neonatologists assigned to the unit.Provide direct patient care including, procedures, blood draws, attending deliveries, conducting daily patient assessments, and implementing daily patient care plans.Participate in performance improvement activities.Collaborate closely with Social Services and Nursing staff and will attend discharge planning meetings.Qualifications:Current NYS Physician Assistant registrationCurrent certification issued by the NCCPAMust be able to work efficiently in a team environmentMust be able to work evenings and weekendsPhysician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C.
