Outreach Phlebotomist, 40hr, Day -Southbridge

This position is responsible for daily drawing of blood from patients, maintaining open communication between laboratory departments and nursing units, ensuring quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages, rotating shifts as necessary and covering other sites, performing any additional duties deemed necessary, and working independently after initial training and competency assessment. Perform any additional duties that laboratory management deems necessary. Work independently after initial training and competency assessment for specimen processing and collection. Position Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of a certificate program in phlebotomy or medical assisting, or practical work experience at a hospital that trains in phlebotomy techniques required. Preferred: Previous phlebotomy experience.
