This position is integral to our team and provides an opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to, legal document production, research, and client interaction. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: 1. Electronically filing legal documents with Florida courts. 2. Corresponding with clients, courts and opposing clients. 3. Assisting in the preparation of legal documents. 4. Coordinating and managing schedules, appointments, and deadlines. 5. Liaising with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals. 6. Ensuring all legal documents are processed in a timely and efficient manner. 7. Maintaining and organizing legal files and databases. 8. Providing administrative support to lawyers and enhancing office effectiveness. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role. 2. Prior and/or current experience supporting attorneys with medical malpractice practices. 3. Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. 6. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
