Consulting Group Analyst

Consulting Group Analyst provides exceptional service to clients and supports FAs, PWAs, and teams daily. The role focuses on assisting in digital marketing, portfolio holdings and/or proposal tools, financial planning, reporting, and analysis, as well as technical policy, presentation materials, and performance measurement for advanced accounts. Client Service As a key member of the service team, duties include supporting FA/PWA teams in delivering client service models, preparing for meetings, tracking follow‑ups, and providing backup coverage on registered client service responsibilities such as executing money‑movement transactions, answering non‑investment related questions, enrolling clients in digital tools, and entering orders in a clerical capacity. Business Development Support Execute administrative elements of digital and in‑person marketing strategies (conferences, webinars, websites, social media, email). Prepare and review client reports or financial plans from firm‑approved systems. Assist with research using firm‑approved systems. Participate in client and prospective client meetings representing the service lens. Participate in firm initiatives, special projects, or other duties directed by local management. Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Education and Experience 5+ years of experience in a relevant field. Four‑year college degree or professional certification preferred. Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required. Additional product licenses may be required. Willingness to obtain the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of financial services products (equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, managed accounts). Technical proficiency and quick learning of new platforms. Detail‑oriented with superior organizational and prioritization skills. Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and internet applications. Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client‑service skills. Strong time‑management skills. Team player collaborating with others. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Adaptability and multitasking. Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, and results‑driven. Reports To Business Service Officer Compensation Expected base pay rates: $83,200.00 – $92,300.00 per year. Additional compensation may include commissions, incentive pay, bonuses, and other benefits.
