Registered Nurse - PCU / Med-Surg / Telemetry

Schedule

Shifts are available for Days and Nights, with a weekend requirement not otherwise specified. Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays.

Assignment Details

This is a per diem position with a 24-hour orientation. Candidates may be expected to float between sister facilities.

Requirements

• Current compact nursing license must be in hand at submission.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and management of cardiac drips.
• Ability to perform central line/PICC line care, start/maintain IVs, and administer blood products.
• Recent clinical references and experience within the last 6 months are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in PCU and Med-Surg settings.
• Conduct assessments and develop individual care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; respond to abnormal findings appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
