If you are someone who enjoys variability in your job, then you could be an ideal candidate. The primary responsibility is the creation and design of commercial art for our sign shop. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating our digital printer and cutter, and for some light assembly, applying the graphics to the appropriate substrates. Some overtime may be required from time to time.

You should be a self starter/manager of the tasks and projects that we accept daily. We start our day with a morning project review meeting, so please be at work on time, as you are an important member of our team. Please be a non-smoker.

Our shop is clean and well organized, and we have modern, updated equipment in a comfortable heated and air-conditioned environment. There will be limited interaction with our customer base, but be prepared to offer expert guidance and opinions when needed.

We offer inside light assembly in an air-conditioned environment. We will supply training and hand tools required for each task. This position offers a great deal of variety in the daily tasks and opportunities for developing your technical skills and industry knowledge working with modern equipment. This is a key position in our company, so we will rely upon you for your expert opinion and guidance when required. Our dress code is casual, suitable for interactions with the client base.

Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the morning production/planning meeting

• Creating / production of graphics

  • Design new graphics on request

  • Reprint existing graphics

  • Assist in production of product for client use

• Maintain organization of historical art files

• Communicate with clients for new art creations and/or revised art

• Understand how to navigate through our business management software

• Provide accurate graphics to schedule

• Create high-quality and accurate products

• Able to work efficiently and safely in light assembly

• Work with Microsoft Office Products

• Operate Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop expertly
