One of our most impactful qualities is the ability to embrace challenges, grow through change, and encourage creativity to get ahead of the constant market variables.Responsibilities and DutiesBuild and maintain relationships with customers and carriers via phoneMatch customer freight with carriers from our database and continued carrier developmentNegotiate reasonable rates with carriersSet up appointments for carriers to pick up and drop off freightTrack inbound and outbound freight to ensure on-time deliveryResolve any freight delivery issuesRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferredMinimum 1 year customer service experience; outbound phone experience preferredComputer literate, including Microsoft Office SuiteDesire to learn and positive attitudeQuality-driven and results-orientedAbility to negotiateAbility to build business relationshipsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralGood attendance recordEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWhat's in it for You?At WorldWide Logistics, we value our employees and believe in providing a positive work environment.
