Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing organization in the healthcare and diagnostics industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This position will have significant ownership and visibility within the organization, working closely with the Controller and supporting a broad range of accounting and financial activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working independently, improving processes, and taking ownership in a growing organization. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger functions Support the monthly and year-end close process Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with financial reporting and analysis Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Analyze financial information and investigate variances Assist with inventory-related accounting activities Develop and maintain financial reports within the company's ERP system Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting Work closely with the Controller and other internal stakeholders Assist with special projects and other financial initiatives as the organization grows What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Several years of progressive accounting experience Experience creating or building reports within NetSuite Inventory accounting experience Strong month-end close experience Experience with journal entries and general ledger accounting Budgeting and financial planning experience Strong understanding of accounting principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Comfortable working in a growing organization with evolving processes Strong communication and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
