Experience: Two years of clinical experience required

License: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required

Certifications: ARRT MRI (MR) required or ARMRIT American Registry of MRI Technologists accepted, BLS required - AHA only

Description: Day and evening shifts available. Shifts will be 8 or 10 hours between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. May be asked to work one day on the weekend if coverage is needed from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On-call requirements include Monday to Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Schedules will be arranged randomly and will be coordinated with the traveler. Two years of clinical experience is required. Graduation from a School of Radiologic Technology is mandatory. ARRT MRI certification is required, or ARMRIT MRI certification will be accepted. BLS certification from AHA is required. Travelers will be required to float as needed. A telemetry exam will be required prior to starting. Strict passing criteria will be in place for the exam. A passing score of 80% or higher is necessary. If the traveler is unsuccessful in two attempts, completion of a cardiac interpretation review course is required before a third attempt. If three attempts do not result in passing, the assignment will be cancelled. This role involves working with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Special procedures may include pulmonary embolism exams and magnetic resonance angiography. Travelers must demonstrate proficiency in various MRI techniques and equipment.
