What You'll Do: As a Staff Accountant, you will be part of our Payroll and Retirement Benefits team. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing supporting workpapers, reports, and filings, and documenting observations for review. You will complete accounting, annual budgeting and other work related to the administration of many qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. You will work with participants to answer questions related to their benefits. You will monitor, evaluate and reconcile financial records to ensure transactions are properly recorded. Flexibility is key, as you will have other duties as assigned. What It Takes to Join Our Team: Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent with 1-3+ years of relevant experience. CPA designation is a plus. Results oriented and possess analytical skills to handle moderately complex processes. General knowledge in applicable financial field (such as GAAP, Statutory, retirement plans, state and federal tax laws, payroll, SOX/MAR, etc.), Advanced computer skills in order to quickly learn our multiple systems (Excel skills preferred). Ability to work independently with occasional direction and in a team environment. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail. Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
