Business Development Manager - Southwest Region

Summary Qualified candidates are responsible for Mil/Aero sales, including key account sales responsibility,in the territory. Manage a collection of independent sales reps providing extended coverage acrossthe region and collaborate with distribution partners. A key member of the North American mil/aerosales team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Mil/Aero sales. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive sales growth of Times Microwave products in the Mil/Aero market Direct key account development and sales responsibility. Experience selling to the major military primes beneficial Develop and manage key program and sales opportunities in the territory Coordinate with a team of other complementary direct Business Dev. Managers Generate customer quotations and proposals - working w/ Engineering, Programs and Finance teams as required Collaborate with engineering on custom product solutions Manage expectations between customers and the company on lead times, expedites, and availability Provide regular forecasting and pipeline updates Make decisions to support sales and grow the business Travel expectations up to 40% as required Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree with a focus on business management, operations or engineering preferred Minimum 5-years' experience in outside sales environment Applications knowledge including: Aeronautics, Missile Systems, Space, Electronic Warfare, Radar, and Ground Combat Vehicles Familiar with establishing and managing a sales rep network Experience with RF interconnect products, coaxial cable &/or related products a plus Comfortable discussing technical requirements such as RF electrical specifications and mechanical requirements Highly accountable for performance in the territory Located within the Southwest region (AZ or CA) to support sales activity Times Microwave Systems is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V. #J-18808-Ljbffr Times Microwave Systems
