Appian Senior Developer

Salary: $88,000 - 128,000 per year Requirements:

• We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
• We are looking for someone with 10+ years of software development experience.
• We need 7–10 years of hands-on Appian process automation experience.
• We require 10+ years of API integration experience.
• We are seeking expertise in building custom Appian applications, process models, interfaces, and integrations.
• We need experience designing and delivering enterprise workflow automation or case management solutions.
• We require working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling principles.
• We value strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with functional teams.
• We need experience working effectively in Agile delivery environments.
• Preferred: experience supporting federal government programs or secure environments.
• Preferred: experience integrating Appian with REST APIs, web services, or enterprise platforms.
• Preferred: experience with Appian Records, Interfaces, Process Models, and Expression Rules.
• Preferred: experience translating business needs into scalable Appian solutions.

• We design, develop, and enhance Appian applications, interfaces, process models, records, and reports for federal operations.
• We complete an existing MVP and add new custom requirements.
• We design and implement process models, business rules, and workflow automation aligned with business needs.
• We improve application performance and apply Appian best practices to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• We build RESTful API integrations and web services connecting Appian with enterprise and external systems.
• We collaborate with functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• We participate in daily stand-ups and maintain regular communication with project stakeholders.
• We troubleshoot development issues and support application refinement efforts.
• We maintain technical documentation, configuration details, and development artifacts.
• We ensure solutions meet security, performance, and operational expectations.
• We contribute to technical design discussions and recommend scalable Appian architecture and development approaches.
