For more information, visit Description The Laboratory Technician will work under the direction of a technical staff member in Texas Analytical group within the Texas Technology Department. Analytical Technicians are expected to develop hands-on expertise and a deep technical understanding of a wide range of laboratory instrumentation and analytical equipment. A strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement is essential. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who works effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and takes initiative to achieve results. Responsibilities Collaborate with colleagues on projects utilizing a variety of analytical techniques Support the evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement of analytical technologies for commercial products and laboratory processes Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment Accurately document experimental work, prepare technical reports, test methods, summaries and other scientific literature Lead and actively participate on cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams Support quality systems and prepare documentation and reports for internal and external regulatory agencies Perform all work safely while promoting a strong culture of safety and compliance Qualifications Candidate must possess minimum of (AA/AAS) in Chemistry or a Bachelor's degree in a physical science. B.S. in Chemistry is preferred. Formal training in standard laboratory practices and procedures is preferred. Strong problem-solving, mathematical, and scientific skills, including familiarity with basic statistical methods. Demonstrated initiative, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
