Desktop Support Specialist

Onsite, Downtown Dallas, TX 6 month contract with CDW CDW is seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Technician who can hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervision. This role will support laptop refresh initiatives, new user onboarding, and day-to-day end-user support, requiring strong technical skills and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Execute large-scale laptop refresh and replacement projects , including imaging, configuration, and deployment Onboard new users , prepare and image new systems, and ensure successful first-day readiness Provide hands-on desktop and Windows 11 support for end users Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner Use SCCM to image, deploy, and manage devices Manage and support users and devices in Active Directory (ADUC) Deliver clear, professional communication while supporting users at all technical levels Document work and follow established IT processes and standards Required Skills & Experience Proven experience supporting laptop refresh initiatives and device deployments Strong customer service and communication skills Hands-on experience with: Microsoft 365 Microsoft SCCM Active Directory (ADUC) Windows 11 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with ControlUp Prior enterprise or corporate IT support experience Qualifications Previous experience in desktop support, end-user computing, or IT support roles Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and user-focused approach Why Join Us?
