REGISTERED NURSE-LABOR & DELIVERY

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
The Labor and Delivery unit has 6 labor rooms, 1 treatment room, and 2 high risk maternal advanced care beds. There are also 2 designated operating rooms and 2 PACU bays. The unit specializes in labor and delivery of uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies. The Obstetrical Triage unit consists of 7 triage bays as well as 2 non-stress test chairs. Any patient 16 weeks pregnant or greater to 6 weeks post-partum is seen in OB Triage. Patients are seen for various complaints as well as for iron/blood infusions, and Rhogam injections.
Experience Required: 1 year minimum Labor & Delivery experience as an RN required.
Education Requirements: Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
License/Certification Requirements: Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS).
Special Requirements: Part time, 7pm-7am, Weekends/holidays with rotation.
