Highs is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager who will be responsible for supporting the management of the store operation and ensure the execution of organizational objectives and initiatives to achieve the stores goals. You will be responsible for associate satisfaction, brand standards and profitability while supporting the vision of Fast, Fresh Friendly exceptional customer service!/ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliLearn all aspects of supervising the day-to-day task assignment of the store associates./liliEnsure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. Solicit and respond to customer feedback, input, and information through various communication methods by creating an organized response plan./liliSupport the management of all matters relating to associates and the store team recruiting, hiring, training development, coaching associate engagement and performance management./liliEnsure execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, practices, and programs./liliAssist in the analysis of results and trends to leverage the stores strengths and address areas of opportunity. Ensure the execution of all plans./liliCoordinate daily assignments and activities of associates to meet the needs of the business and create a positive work environment./liliAdditional duties as the business needs./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliLeadership experience in a fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment./liliBachelors degree in business or related discipline preferred./liliAvailability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays based on business needs./liliAbility to learn and utilize the stores computer applications./liliMust be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position./li/ulpWorking Conditions:/pulliRetail environment with occasional exposure to working conditions including dust, extreme temperatures, and potential contact with petroleum and/or cleaning products./liliAbility to spend most of the shift standing with frequent bending and lifting./liliCommitment to maintain full store operations in all weather conditions./li/ul/div
