Responsibilities Engage in a combination of cold calling and prospecting to attract new customers, while also conducting face-to-face client visits to build and maintain relationships and increase sales of Southern Reins Logistics' services. Regularly visit both existing and potential clients off-site to ensure their needs are met, identify new opportunities for growth, and strengthen customer relationships. Work closely with customers to understand their specific logistics needs and create tailored solutions to provide a seamless sales experience, ensuring both client satisfaction and maximum profitability. Oversee and track the entire sales cycle for each customer, from initial contact through securing their first shipment, ensuring timely follow-up and attention to detail throughout the process. Provide accurate quotes and negotiate pricing and shipping lanes with customers based on an understanding of services, market conditions, weather, geographical regions, and pricing patterns for truck brokerage. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers through excellent service, proactive communication, and regular follow-up. Work closely with the operations and tracking teams to ensure the seamless execution of customer accounts, meeting all customer expectations for service quality and delivery. What we look for Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (preferred). 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the logistics industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Competitive and results-driven nature, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a goal-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
