Mortgage Loan Officer - New or Current
Are you new, or do you have a proven track record of creating lending solutions for clients and a desire to assist buyers in obtaining the property of their dreams? If so, we’d love to talk with you about joining our office. We are a tight-knit group of lending professionals seeking an experienced and detail-oriented mortgage loan officer. We provide excellent support to allow loan officers to grow their business and team. Opportunities for a sign-on bonus are available as well for active loan originators. Compensation:$100,000 - $250,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction
- Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
- Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to
- Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
- Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related field
- Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred
- 3-5 years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending experience required

Preferred Rate is a direct lender focused on supporting our loan originators. We provide a full array of products and support to make sure our loan officers can focus on building relationships and originating.
We offer both in-office and remote options for loan originators. Loan originators receive full support through sales coaching, a documents specialist who follows up on all needed documents for applications taken, in-house processing, and a strong originating environment.
