At least 3 years of experience in A/R collections with analytical background. Job Description Essential Functions Monitor accounts receivable balances; perform collection functions on assigned accounts, resolve customer non‑payment issues, negotiate payments, and reconcile accounts. Escalate accounts as necessary. Collaborate with Contracts, Credit, Billing, Database, Asset Management, Reconciliation, and A/R teams to resolve payment issues. Support team culture with a positive environment. Assist in other duties as directed by the supervisor. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities % of Time Collection Activities – 100% Specific Daily Activities Monitor and follow up on Term Begin Date Adjustments, Return Material Authorizations, canceled sales orders, and reverse billing items. Create and send manual invoices electronically or via overnight mail per Sarbanes‑Oxley protocol. Research operational issues with field personnel. Monitor accounts in the Escalation Protocol for payment or credit risk. Work with Database, Asset Management, and Reconciliation teams to correct entry errors and adjust invoices. Pursue payment on past‑due invoices, contact customers by phone, email, and letter, and escalated non‑payment accounts; notify management and engage client teams as needed. Provide customer service to clients regarding invoices and A/R balances. General Responsibilities Cooperate with other departments to maintain process and policy consistency, improve accuracy and efficiency of Pyxis processes, maintain a general knowledge of Pyxis products, and perform additional duties as requested. Professionalism Maintain a consistent work schedule, remain reliable for co‑workers and customers, discourage negativity, provide constructive feedback through proper channels, and set a positive example with a professional demeanor at all times. Position Requirements Reports to: Portfolio Manager Education BA, BS, or equivalent with business (preferred), accounting, or finance emphasis. Experience 3+ years in collections or account reconciliation, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal skills, tact, persistence, analytical and critical thinking, patience, customer service orientation, reconciliation skills, follow‑through; excellent verbal and written communication; working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing; familiarity with computerized A/R systems and Excel. Physical / Mental Manage changing priorities and multiple responsibilities; work extended hours; make decisions under pressure; work effectively in a team environment. Work Environment Professional office environment with heavy internal and customer demands.
