Part-Time Content Creator

Job Description
We are seeking a creative, social-media-savvy Content Creator to help drive brand awareness, engagement, and community growth across TikTok and Instagram for a company of ours in New York. This role is responsible for creating, filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content that aligns with the brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in social media trends, comfortable appearing on camera, and capable of producing a consistent volume of engaging content that converts viewers into customers and advocates.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and publish: 2 TikTok videos and 1 Instagram Reel per day
Develop content concepts that align with the brand positioning and marketing campaigns.
Stay current on TikTok and Instagram trends, sounds, memes, and platform best practices.
Film product-focused, lifestyle, educational, trend-based, and community-driven content.
Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls-to-action.
Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives.
Maintain a consistent content calendar and meet daily posting deadlines.
Source and coordinate user-generated content (UGC) opportunities when applicable.
Engage authentically with the brand's community through comments and platform interactions as assigned.
Pay range: $28-$35/hr

Skills and Requirements
Proven experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram.
Strong video filming and editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
Understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and audience engagement strategies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
Comfortable being on camera and creating lifestyle-focused content.
Experience with consumer brands, fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or ecommerce brands is preferred.
