What You'll Do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Draft complex motions, pleadings, discovery, and persuasive legal correspondence
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients in mediations, motion hearings, pretrial proceedings, and trials
• Review case files and electronic databases to identify key evidence and prepare exhibits
• Develop deposition and trial outlines
• Meet directly with clients, evaluate legal issues, and help shape litigation strategy
• Analyze complex disputes and recommend practical, results-driven solutions
• Negotiate on behalf of clients and help move cases toward efficient resolution
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
• Delegate assignments to support staff and oversee the quality and completion of their work
• Assist with commercial disputes and employment-related matters

What the Firm Is Looking For

• At least two years of litigation experience
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Experience taking depositions
• Prior courtroom and hearing experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Sound judgment and a solutions-oriented approach
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
• A collaborative attitude and genuine desire to grow professionally
