Position Overview

We are in search of a capable and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist ready to join an evolving team of imaging experts committed to exemplary care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you'll perform diagnostic procedures, work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and help instill peace of mind in patients through timely, accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, detailing each step with warmth and understanding
• Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with diligence, swiftly reporting any malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records within electronic medical systems
• Keep abreast of advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
