Step into a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with dedicated early childhood teams. In this onsite opportunity, you’ll provide speech services across two schools, focusing exclusively on PreK children (ages 3-5) in four classrooms from early October through March. Play a pivotal role in team-based evaluations, contributing your expertise within an engaged, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois SLP license is required
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with PreK students
• Background in team-oriented evaluations; experience with Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to work across two school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to PreK students, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate as part of an evaluation team, providing input for student assessments and participating in Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessments
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child’s needs
• Consult regularly with educators, staff, and families on student progress
• Maintain clear documentation and comply with all district/state requirements
• Contribute to a supportive, student-centered learning environment
