VIP Food Runner/Busser - Fillmore New Orleans

Job Summary Position: VIP Area Food Service – Expeditor/Server (High-volume). The role performs table maintenance, opening/closing duties, guest service, and event support in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen environment. What this role will do Perform table maintenance duties in the VIP area according to company service standards. Perform opening, running, and closing duties in the VIP area according to company service standards. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner. Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating throughout the work area during shift. Keep floor neat, clean, free of food, trash, and other obstacles during the shift. Clean spills immediately and use floor signs to caution guests and staff. Dispose of trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles. Keep current on all standard operating procedures and stay informed of current menu items and descriptions. Follow private party service guidelines to ensure event success. Assist other employees as needed. Follow all safety standards. Occasionally work special events scheduled throughout the venue. What this person will bring High volume kitchen operations experience. Food service experience as an Expeditor or Server in a high‑volume environment. Exceptional communication skills. Sense of urgency. Time management. Kitchen sanitation standards knowledge. Critical thinking and decision‑making. High school diploma. Preferred Point of Sales experience. Physical Demands / Working Environment Fast‑paced, loud, and often stressful environment. Requires extended periods of standing and working on feet. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
