Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: Contract Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing License: RN License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience Description: This position requires experience in a skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment. The role involves providing care for adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs. The rehabilitation facility operates as a 50-bed acute inpatient setting. The focus is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Nurses are expected to assist Nursing Assistants and respond to call lights for patient safety. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:7. Equipment utilized includes mobility aids, vital machines, EKG machines, and electronic health record systems. Staff members are required to adhere to attendance policies and are mandated to take breaks during shifts. Orientation and training will be conducted to prepare staff for their roles.
