Director, Global MSL Excellence

Revolution Medicines

Revolution Medicines seeks a Director of Global MSL Excellence to lead the development and standardization of Medical Science Liaison capabilities across regions. This role drives Field Medical strategy, performance, and operational excellence while partnering with global medical teams to ensure consistency and scientific impact.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute global MSL excellence strategy aligned with medical and corporate objectives
Establish global standards for scientific engagement, insights generation, and field activity execution
Design competency models, certification programs, and comprehensive onboarding curricula for Field Medical teams
Define KPIs and performance dashboards to measure MSL impact and scientific engagement quality
Oversee global processes including scientific engagement planning, territory management, and compliant documentation

Requirements

Extensive experience leading Medical Science Liaison or Field Medical organizations globally
Proven expertise designing competency frameworks, certification programs, and capability development curricula
Strong background in medical affairs strategy, scientific exchange standards, and compliance governance
Experience with digital transformation, CRM systems, and analytics platforms in medical environments
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally across medical, clinical, and regional teams
Advanced knowledge of oncology or life sciences preferred
