Job Summary:

BrightCare HomeCare, a leading provider of home care services in Louisiana, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a Caregiver with BrightCare HomeCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses by providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, personalized care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, wound care, and medication management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and understanding in all interactions with clients and their loved ones

• Maintain accurate records of client care services, including notes, progress reports, and incident reports

• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet clients' unique needs and goals

• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and regulations

Requirements:

• Caregiver experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required for the position)

• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
