Maintenance & Reliability Support Technician

The Manufacturing Support Technician is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining the inventory of all filling and packaging equipment parts to meet production needs.
Role Overview:
- Maintains an up-to-date inventory of machine parts and supplies based on established maximum/minimum levels while employing a computerized Tool Crib Management System (TCMS). Ensures that all items are located in their designated location and each is identified appropriately by part number, part name, supplier name, etc.
- Inspects returned tools and change parts for damage or wear, and generates requests for repairs and replacement parts using the computerized work order request form and purchase order request form system.
- Works from the production floor schedule and set up sheets to pre-kit set up parts for line changeovers.
- Maintains inventory and recommends purchase of detergents, sanitizers, tools and parts to maintain operation.
- Operates all equipment and machinery needed to wash and sanitize parts.
- Must follow all sanitization procedures.
- Maintains and stores records and technical manuals for all production equipment.
- Maintains a high level of safety and housekeeping in the Tool Crib and the Wash Room.
- Performs other duties as assigned and required.
