Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator
Coordinate the Lab Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Help to design and implement the development of the laboratory CQI Program: Collaborate with Department Supervisors and Director on topics to be included in the CQI Plan and ensures compliance with regulatory agency (NJDOH) and standard setting organizations (CAP & TJC). Maintain all Lab CQI data and reports; coordinate and execute the Laboratory Quarterly CQI/QA meeting; prepares Quarterly Summary of CQI data and bi-annual summary of CQI studies performed by laboratory sections; maintains minutes of all meetings. Provide oversight for the entire POCT program, including training, competency assessment, proficiency testing Work in conjunction with nursing education Department to monitor performance and quality control with all Point of Care testing; administer all proficiency testing samples to appropriate nursing units
