About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Excellent physical assessment and documentation skills Experience caring for acute care stroke patients Time management skills Well-developed critical thinking skills Established A.I.D.E.T. behaviors Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs and HAIs Chemo experience is a plus Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will focus on providing high-quality and compassionate patient care. This position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills. A patient ratio of 6:1 is maintained on the unit. Documentation is performed using a Meditech system. Nurses will float to other Med-Surg and Tele units as needed. Candidates must have a strong foundation in acute care nursing and critical thinking. The environment provides advanced technology and supportive staffing. Block scheduling is available to accommodate work-life balance. Communication is enhanced through the use of iPhones and dedicated apps.
