Are you passionate about drafting and design? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Skaneateles, NY, a picturesque location known for its natural beauty and vibrant community. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and your contributions will make a difference.
We are looking for a skilled drafter with intermediate knowledge of drafting techniques and CAD, preferably SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be adept at understanding drafting standards and file configurations. This role involves coordinating with tool makers in an office setting, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree in drafting disciplines or 3 years of drafting experience
- Technical education in mechanical drafting and mathematics, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of SolidWorks
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and time management skills
Preferences
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Familiarity with appropriate drafting standards (ANSI)
- General use of PC
Additional Information
- Industry experience in any field with a strong mechanical background is welcome
- No travel abroad required
- Flexible work arrangements are not offered
