These are the qualifications that matter.

• 2 years of previous experience repairing industrial sewing machines required
• Experience with single-needle, double-needle, serger, or mattress sewing equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Basic electrical and pneumatic knowledge preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals and equipment diagrams
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial sewing machines and related production equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
• Adjust machine settings to maintain stitch quality and production performance
• Replace worn or damaged machine parts as needed
• Assist production operators with machine setup and minor repairs
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and service documentation
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with production and management teams to reduce downtime and support workflow
