Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Upscale Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role blends customer service and communication with routine observation in a community setting. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first and act with integrity while supporting a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $21.40 / Hour

DayTimeMon09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSun09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with residents, property representatives, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, report security-related concerns, and support community rules.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
