Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Gated Community in Mission Viejo, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this people-first role, you will provide outstanding customer service and communication while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
- Communicate with residents, property staff, and/or supervisors regarding access requests, policy questions, and incidents to help support daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
