Company Description SETRAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax‑exempt organization operating as one of 22 Regional Advisory Councils in Texas under the authority of the Texas Department of Health. SETRAC provides stakeholder support through planning, facilitation, operations, and technical assistance for regional Preparedness, Trauma, Injury Prevention, Stroke, Cardiac, and Pediatric services. The organization administers federal and state grant funding to help prepare a nine‑county region for man‑made or natural emergencies, disasters, and mass casualty events. Through specialized committees, SETRAC works to establish care standards and protocols for hospitals, EMS agencies, and other providers. As a regional coalition, it promotes collaboration, community education, and delivery of appropriate care by well‑trained providers. Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and tracking of equipment and supplies to support emergency preparedness and healthcare initiatives across the region. Day‑to‑day tasks include maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and assisting with distribution during training events, exercises, and real‑world responses. The Logistics Coordinator collaborates with internal teams and external partners, responds to stakeholder requests, and supports documentation and reporting related to logistics activities. The role also involves monitoring stock levels, identifying process improvements, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Strong Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management skills to oversee stock levels, warehousing, and distribution activities. Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and responsive manner. Analytical Skills to interpret data, track metrics, and optimize logistics processes and resource utilization. Ability to use basic office and inventory software, including spreadsheets and databases. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance. Experience in logistics, emergency management, healthcare, or public sector operations is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus. Class B CDL required Salary and Benefits $45,000-$80,000.
