Beginning this August and extending through June, you'll be integral to a vibrant school community, helping to ensure students’ well-being, safety, and success. This full-time role comprises 35 hours per week and spans multiple schools, offering a dynamic mix of caring for diverse age groups and health needs.

Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing and managing 504 plans, administering medications, and supporting daily health room functions. As you collaborate with faculty and educational teams, your commitment to student health will be invaluable. The role requires strong assessment abilities, clear communication, and a compassionate approach to student care.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Certified School Nurse (CSN) license for California
• Current PPS Credential
• Experience with school-age children, ideally spanning grades K–12
• Solid foundation in medication administration and healthcare documentation
• Ability to develop and implement 504 plans
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical care
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage health needs for designated student caseloads
• Administer medications and handle health emergencies effectively
• Create and update 504 plans with appropriate documentation
• Maintain organized records and comply with district policies
• Provide day-to-day support in the health room
• Foster healthy school environments and serve as a resource to students and staff

This position offers on-site engagement only, ensuring you build direct connections within the school community. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, and fingerprint clearance is required before starting.
