Litigation Associate - Auto

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli (JSH) is the second largest law firm in Arizona. Founded in 1983, we are headquartered in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Salt Lake City, Utah. JSH defends clients of all sizes, across multiple industries in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Today, JSH has over 135 attorneys and 130 legal support staff, many of whom have spent their entire career at JSH. JSH is growing again, and seeking an Associate with 0-4 years of litigation experience to join our Auto practice in our Arizona office. Prior experience in insurance defense is strongly preferred. Experience in automobile, trucking / transportation, premises, dram shop, or general liability defense is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of civil litigation and a desire to provide exceptional client service. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent academic credentials. Qualifications: JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona 0-4 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense Experience with discovery, disclosures, taking/defending depositions, drafting/arguing motions, and court appearances Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills Salary range is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, plus bonus. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
