Fabricator Technician

Job Title: Fabricator Technician

Location: Currie, NC

Type: Contract to hire

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Hours: 40.0 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving, lifting, and positioning metal materials throughout the department.
• Work alongside team members to load and unload brake and shear machines.
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, eye protection, and hearing protection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support production needs and assist with other departmental tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential due to the small team environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
• Steel-toe boots, safety glasses/eye protection, hearing protection.
