HVAC Sales RepresentativePower-Flo Technologies is seeking an HVAC Sales Representative. We are a two location temperature controls distributor specializing in providing engineering, materials, and startup assistance for temperature control systems.Locations in New Hyde Park, NY & Long Island City, NY.As the HVAC Sales Representative, you will:Write orders and assist in selling HVAC controls.Develop and maintain vendor relationships.Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services always.Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond.Schedule outside appointments with existing customers to review applications requirements, and uncover new opportunities.Assist customers (in person or over the phone) during a sales inquiry, in an effective and efficient manner that encourages return business.Accurately conducts the sales transactions by appropriately entering the customer order in the system.Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, information and promotions. Suggests alternative product when appropriate.Picks and fills orders when appropriate. Assures that orders leaving the warehouse are checked and accompanied, by the appropriate documentation.Purchase special order material, for customers, as per company procedure. Expedite open orders.Process product returns, per company procedure assuring that all documentation is collected.Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field.Monitor sales trends and product performance results.Necessary Qualifications:2+ years of HVAC sales experience requiredHVAC product and vendor knowledgeDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formatsStrong customer service orientationHigh school diploma or equivalent, as determined by the companyMust have a valid and clean driver's license to travel to vendors and customers in the LI/NYC areaPay & Benefits:Wage Commensurate with experience ($60,000 - $80,000 annually)Medical, dental, and visionPTO Program and Paid Holidays401KEAPESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)Commission PotentialWith over 300 team members across 11 different locations, Power-Flo Technologies is an ever-growing group of companies headquartered in Long Island, NY.
