Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Possible overtime / weekend work when needed)

Compensation : 90,000-110,000K Annually

Location: On-site, Austin Texas (Some travel required - We are looking for Local Applicants Only)

About the Role:

The Information Security Administrator is responsible for protecting the organization’s technology, systems, and critical assets by developing and maintaining security processes, identifying and mitigating risks, and supporting overall security and resilience. This role partners closely with IT Support and Infrastructure teams, provides guidance and training on security best practices, and helps ensure compliance with security policies and standards. The administrator will also support the secure and responsible use of AI by addressing AI-related risks and leveraging AI and automation to strengthen security operations, threat detection, incident response, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and SOPs aligned with business and technology goals.
• Define system access requirements based on job roles and security needs.
• Partner with IT and business teams to balance security and operational needs.
• Conduct security reviews, audits, and risk assessments; identify gaps and implement mitigation plans.
• Evaluate systems, applications, vendors, and partners for security and compliance requirements.
• Recommend and implement solutions that strengthen security and compliance.
• Monitor and respond to security threats using tools such as SIEM and EDR.
• Identify, assess, and remediate system and application vulnerabilities.
• Serve as a security subject matter expert on best practices, risk mitigation, and emerging threats.
• Promote security awareness through employee training and education.
• Develop guidance and policies for the secure and responsible use of AI.
• Assess AI tools, vendors, and use cases for security risks and recommend safeguards.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of information security experience, with demonstrated experience independently managing
  security risks, incidents, policies, and security technologies. Experience in writing, developing and
  implementing information security policies and procedures.
• Ability to balance business needs with information security requirements.
• Demonstrable experience with a wide range of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, email
  security, CASB, IAM, endpoint protection, and incident response tools.
• Risk Management Expertise: Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments,
  developing effective treatment strategies.
• Cloud Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices for securing cloud
  environments (Azure).
• Understanding of artificial intelligence technologies, including generative AI, and the information security,
  privacy, data protection, and governance considerations associated with their use in a business
  environment.
• Proven ability to evaluate AI tools, applications, vendors, and use cases from an information security risk
  perspective and communicate practical recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience using or willingness to develop expertise with AI and automation technologies to improve
  cybersecurity operations, analysis, reporting, and administrative workflows.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to present technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to create documentation independently.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Physical demands listed below are representative of those that
must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to work on-site daily
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• The person in this position needs to possess the ability to move about inside the office to access office
  equipment, office machinery, etc.
• Must be able to work on-site daily
• Ability to travel to different branches via air travel
• Ability to travel to different branches via car
• On-call and after-hours work may be required to meet the needs of the organization. (These will be
  scheduled by the IT Director)
