Job Title: Perfusionist
Location: Greenville, SC
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | Shift times may vary based on departmental and patient care needs

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Perfusionist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during cardiac surgical procedures
• Independently perform perfusion services for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Monitor and manage physiologic parameters during procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer blood products, medications, and cardioplegia solutions as directed
• Operate and troubleshoot perfusion-related equipment and life-support systems
• Assist with ECMO cannulation, initiation, monitoring, and management
• Participate in ECMO transport operations and patient transfers
• Manage ventricular assist devices and advanced circulatory support systems
• Accurately document procedures and patient data within EPIC EMR
• Maintain compliance with quality assurance, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and operating room staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Perfusion, Cardiovascular Sciences, or a related field
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• Minimum 5 years of Perfusion experience required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience in Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Cardiac Surgery
• Experience in General and Pediatric Operating Room environments
• Experience in Level I Trauma environments
• Demonstrated ability to independently assist with ECMO cannulation and management
• ECMO Transport experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Ability to manage fast-paced emergent cardiac and cardiovascular surgical cases
• Current CCP (ABCP), ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Hands-on experience with Spectrum Pumps, Terumo System 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia System, ISTAT, CentriMag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, AngioVac, and CardioQuip HC

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive ECMO program experience in tertiary or academic medical centers
• Experience supporting high-volume cardiovascular surgery programs
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical circulatory support devices and extracorporeal life support technologies
• Experience working with multidisciplinary pediatric and adult cardiac teams
