ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports the Health and Wellness team by providing
direct patient care, assisting with clinical operations, maintaining accurate health records, and coordinating services for guests receiving care. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the CNA helps meet the physical, medical, and supportive needs of individuals served by Open Door Mission while contributing to a compassionate, Christ-centered environment. The position also supports clinic administration, volunteer coordination, and guest access to healthcare services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A full job description will be provided for review during the interview process.

• Provide appropriate CNA-level care to infirmary guests under RN supervision.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating clinic volunteers and nursing students.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A visible relationship with Jesus Christ, and ability to share the gospel as opportunities arise.
• Consistent attendance at a local Christian church.
• Current Certification for CNA
• Current Basic Life Support Certfication.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE...

• Medication Assistant Certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• 1-3 years of experience related to the medical field.
• Experience with homeless populations.
