Job Description:\n\nSummary:\nBluberi is seeking a highly motivated individual who has a passion for visual art, entertainment products, and slot machines to be part of our Las Vegas Studio team.\nThe Game Artist III sets the visual direction for slot game development from concept, design, illustration, animation, UI and interface visuals, symbols, backgrounds, characters, and marketing assets that meet the product requirements. They use skills in graphic design and visual arts to create game assets for interactive gaming experiences. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft novel features, themes, and characters while meeting high internal standards and product requirements.\nEssential Functions:\nSets & Executes Visual Direction\n\n Expected to significantly inform and shape visual direction with domain leads. Ensures consistent and effective execution of visual direction.\n Independently contributes to early design efforts with theme exploration, competitive research, and development of paper prototypes and storyboards.\n\nCreative & Collaborative Art Development\n\n Use professional skills in graphic design, typography, illustration, digital painting, animation and other visual arts to create production assets. Demonstrates expert knowledge of creative software to make content. Informs best practices for the art domain.\n Collaborate with development teams and supporting departments for effective iteration of game assets and their optimized integration into the Unity platform. Adhere to established best practices.\n Communicate integration requirements to the development team.\n Actively seek and incorporate feedback from domain leads and stakeholders.\n Enable game development teams to deliver on schedule with timely iteration, accurate effort scoping, and time estimation.\n\nSupport Game Marketing & Promotion\n\n Provide support to Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to hit business objectives, showcase products at tradeshows, and enable excellent customer service.\n\nWork Environment:\nOFFICE: Quiet and within a secured office location\nPhysical Demands:\n\n While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least ten (10) pounds, and prolonged instances of sitting during the shift\n\nTravel Required:\n\n Ability to travel (5%-10%), some international\n\nRequired Education & Experience:\n\n Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts or equivalent field or relevant professional experience. 5+ years of creative art development.\n Can effectively use creative software tools to make game-ready assets. Demonstrate professional skill with Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Demonstrate proficiency in technical art applications.\n Experience in Spine and 3D and Ai advantageous\n Good verbal and written communication skills. Can modulate information to different development domains. Demonstrates effective presentation skills.\n Strong people skills. Works well with creative conflict in a consensus-based, collaborative environment.\n Shows dedication to continuous learning and contributes to improving the studio and organization. Spends regular time on self-improvement that provides value to the organization.\n\nPreferred Education & Experience:\n\n Demonstrates and champions Bluberi values around teamwork, ownership, and transparency.\n Experience with slot development or video game development is preferred. Advanced knowledge of casino gaming players is preferred.\n Advanced experience with Unity tools and engine preferred.\n Strong organizational skills and can manage work across multiple projects at a time. Shows attention to detail and quickly absorbs and recalls new information. The studio is part of Bluberi's R&D department, which includes other development teams in the US and Canada. Our game development teams are comprised of enthusiastic and experienced professionals across multiple disciplines including mathematics, visual arts, software engineering, game design, audio engineering, and quality assurance.
