SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, artists, content producers, product and project managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design best-in-class gaming experiences
• Design visual concepts, user flows, wireframes interface mockups and prototypes for mobile and desktop game experiences.
• Contribute to artifacts including information architecture and game design documents
• Contribute to, curate, and evolve a design system
• Contribute to project and team meetings, and present work and points of view often
• Participate in recruitment and candidate assessment for the design and content team
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior designers and artists
• Perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a UX designer, game designer or product designer; or equivalent experience
• Experience in responsive mobile-first UX and UI planning and design
• Understanding of design best practices for iOS and Android
• Strong visual design sense and command of typography, visual hierarchy, and user interaction
• Understanding of information architecture, with experience drafting user flows and wireframes
• Experience with using and informing design systems
• Experience with UX design and prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience localizing interfaces and launching multi-national products ideal
• Working knowledge or experience in HTML/CSS ideal
• Experience designing for frameworks such as React Native ideal
• Experience in 3D design tools such as Blender, 3D Studio Max, Maya or equivalent ideal
• Proficiency working in (or experience designing for) Unreal Engine, Unity, or equivalent game engine ideal
• Design experience in the gaming industry ideal
• Design experience in the casino gaming industry ideal
• Jira Experience ideal
• Some working knowledge of user research process and methodologies ideal
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in spoken and written form.
