We're searching for a motivated team player with outstanding business skills to be the next director of sales and marketing at our busy hotel. You'll be in charge of developing a revenue management strategy to maximize profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. This dynamic leader is the voice of our brand and manages the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. $120,000 - $125,000 yearly

• Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans
• Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships
• Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance
• Write comprehensive and precise sales reports showing the financial statements for sales promotion, direct sales, and outline of marketing plans
• Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service to your clients

• Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or hospitality
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role
