Project Engineer

Smarter, Better, Now.ADB SAFEGATE’s functional teams are integral to powering innovation and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.   You will make an impact by….Takes the technical lead on airfield lighting control system projects planning, executing and meeting strict deadlines.Designs control system drawings and HMI software to meet the customers system requirements.Assists in developing bills of material for custom control system quotes after analyzing customer requirements.Responsible for communicating and promoting company image to the airport lighting industry during system installation and training.Travels nationally or internationally to airport installations as required for project start-up, commissioning, testing and training.Performs technical training classes for advanced products to internal and external customers.Responsible for becoming familiar with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airport policies, procedures and products.Travels 20% to 40% of the time.The talent we want to inspire has..Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Engineering Technology (EET), Computer Science (CS) or Computer Engineering Technology (CET) preferred or relevant experience in the airfield/aviation lighting industry.2+ years related Project Engineering experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education.Electrical troubleshooting and controls are a plus.Fluent English (oral and written communication skills).Possession of a valid driver’s license.Must maintain an insurable driving record.Must pass any required BCI and FBI Background Check.What's on offerWe value you and your contribution in the business.
