Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing expert speech and language services in a supportive educational environment for the 2025-2026 school year. Work onsite just outside of Ithaca, NY, offering specialized therapy to a diverse caseload of students with mild to severe disabilities, including those with Autism, emotional disturbances, cognitive delays, and Down Syndrome. This contract role brings the unique opportunity to foster communication skills and confidence in young learners, all while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid New York State SLP License
• Active TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) Certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
• Comfortable with a range of service delivery, including traditional, teletherapy, and consultative models

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver intervention services for K-12 students
• Support students with a broad range of communication needs from mild articulation issues to complex disorders
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and help guide educational adjustments for student success
• Utilize technology and evidence-based practices for both onsite and teletherapy service models
