Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, where your expertise will make a real impact on K-12 students with a variety of needs. This role serves students with mild to severe disabilities, including those with autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome. Located near Ithaca, NY, you’ll work onsite for the 2025/2026 school year, dedicating 32.5 hours each week to helping children achieve meaningful communication and social milestones.

Ideal candidates bring a robust background in school-based and pediatric speech therapy, and are confident supporting diverse student populations through both direct and collaborative approaches.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY Speech Language Pathologist License and active TSSLD Certification required
• Credentials as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY highly valued
• Solid experience in schools, pediatrics, and teletherapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity working with a range of disabilities, including autism and cognitive delays
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
• Passion for fostering growth in students across elementary to high school grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy for K–12 students, adapting techniques for various ability levels
• Consult with teachers and parents to support carryover and student progress
• Document services and progress aligned with IEP goals
• Employ evidence-based practices and participate in IEP meetings as needed
