Shipping and Receiving Urgently hiring in Springfield! Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Pay: $16.00 - 20.00 per hour DOE Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM Start Date: ASAP Looking for a rewarding career opportunity? As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll be responsible for managing shipments efficiently. You'll work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. What You'll Do As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for: Verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments Preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality Identifying outgoing orders for proper delivery Fabricating containers for secure shipping of select items Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely Unpacking and inspecting incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and recording shortages Communicating with shippers to resolve shipping issues Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies and materials Operating powered forklifts safely Cleaning and organizing the work area at the end of each shift Performing miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the team What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Prior shipping and receiving experience Forklift operation skills (a plus) Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day Why Join Us in Springfield? Location & Schedule: This position is on-site in Springfield and offers work hours from 7:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday.
