Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Oversee regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigating and reconciling variances.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce carrying costs.
• Manage and maintain the accuracy of inventory records within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing to ensure efficient material flow and availability.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a team of inventory control specialists.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish.
• Familiarity with ERP implementation or optimization projects.
